Dorm Living

I can speak to the Mark Twain dorm since I lived there this year. I have really enjoyed it. The dorm has a few singles but mostly they are suite style. The bathroom with a shower and a toilet is shared by four people. The sinks are in the rooms, which makes it very convenient for getting ready in the morning with no rush to the shower. The rooms are a little small and the dimensions of the rooms can be found online. To get the dorm you want Apply early!

Mark Twain food includes the weekly dining hall and the weekend and late weeknights Mark Twain market with to go food. The milkshakes from the market are a personal favorite. In fact, Mark twain is the only dining hall that serves milkshakes.

Other Dining Halls that I’ve eaten at (but don’t really know the specialties of yet):
Plaza 900: Newest and best but most crowded. The Sandwich line can be worth it, but it takes a long wait.
Eva J’s: Inside of Johnston, this offers the same faire as well as stirfry. Nice addition. Good and quick.
Dobbs: Revamped (some consider it dirty) among dorms such as Lathrup, but it quick and different.
