About Me
Meet me, Laura Parkinson, a college student from Lawrence, Kansas. In 2006, I began at the Missouri School of Journalism in Columbia, Missouri. This actually makes me a rebel considering I grew up in the rival territory. Yes, I crossed the border to attend school at one of the best journalism schools in the country. I am interested in Media Convergence. This means telling compelling stories by any means possible. Convergence connects the various media (photography, video, text and audio) to tell rich, multimedia stories.
I will be studying in London this summer and interning at MSN UK. It will be quite an adventure. I will be bringing you posts back from my experiences living and working in another country.

Hello,really great to know you in here.I am an international student from China and I will be starting my first year of college in summer.You know it’s really good to find you studying in Mizzou too.Do you use MSN?Maybe we can chat sometimes if you think it’s fine.

I’d like to know more about the Journalism school, living at MU, etc. I don’t know how often you update the blog, but I’d like to talk about it sometime on AIM.
