About Me
Meet me, Laura Parkinson, dedicated college student from Lawrence, KS. I began at the University of Missouri in Columbia, MO in 2006. This is actually making me a rebel considering I live in the rival territory. Yes, I crossed the border to attend school at one of the best journalism schools in the country. I am interested in Convergence journalism, which is a little of everything. Convergence is using the Internet to connect the various medias.
Enough about school, I’ll be talking enough about it. I really enjoy fashion and movies. Lots of movies. I work at the movie theater in Lawrence and like to see movies (did I say that?) They are free and fit in my starving college student budget. I also like the deals and I will take it upon myself to find as much free/cheap stuff as possible in Columbia.

Hello,really great to know you in here.I am an international student from China and I will be starting my first year of college in summer.You know it’s really good to find you studying in Mizzou too.Do you use MSN?Maybe we can chat sometimes if you think it’s fine.

I’d like to know more about the Journalism school, living at MU, etc. I don’t know how often you update the blog, but I’d like to talk about it sometime on AIM.
